On Tuesday, the Senator participated in a panel cohosted by the Massachusetts Women's Political Caucus and Cape Women's Coalition on the issue of affordable housing. Joined by her House colleague and fellow housing advocate Rep. Sarah Peake, Barnstable Councillor Jennifer Cullum, and and Alissa Magnotta of Housing Assistance Corporation on Cape Cod, the Senator engaged with other panel members on the ripple effects that a lack of accessible housing has had on the Cape and surrounding communities, and how expanding housing can contribute to economic growth and stability in the area.
